General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Animal Transport – AnimalTransport24

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all transport orders concluded between the customer and Tiertransport24. We do not recognize any differing terms and conditions of the customer unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

2. Conclusion of the contract
The contract is concluded as soon as Tiertransport24 has confirmed the booking of the transport order in writing or by e-mail.

3. Services
Tiertransport24 takes over the transport of pets (e.g. dogs, cats) according to the route agreed in the contract and taking into account animal welfare-compliant transport.

4. Prices and Payment Terms
Transport prices are based on the agreed-upon offer. Payments are due before transport begins, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cancellation and default policies

  • Free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the confirmed transport date.

  • In the event of a later cancellation, a cancellation fee of 50% of the transport price will be charged.

  • For cancellations less than 24 hours before the start of transport or on the day of transport, we charge 100% of the agreed price, as the capacity is completely blocked.

  • Alternatively, a replacement appointment can be arranged free of charge, depending on availability.

6. Customer's obligations
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the animal is healthy, fit to travel, and properly secured. All necessary documents (e.g., vaccination certificate, EU pet passport) must be provided to the driver in advance.

7. Liability
Tiertransport24 is liable for damages only in cases of gross negligence or intent. Liability for illness, injury, or death of the animal during transport is excluded, unless caused by gross negligence or intent.

8. Data protection
Personal data will be used exclusively for the execution of the transport order and will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the transport.

9. Right of withdrawal
If the transport contract was concluded online or outside of business premises, consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with legal regulations. You can find the detailed cancellation policy [here].

10. Final Provisions

  • The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

  • Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
